What Types Of Cardboard Or Paper Materials Does The Carton Machine Support?

Feb 25, 2025|

The carton machine supports a variety of cardboard or paper materials, mainly including but not limited to the following:

Cardboard: Cardboard is often used to make cartons because of its high grammage and stiffness. Common cardboards are 250g, 300g, 400g and 450g. The surface of the cardboard is smooth and suitable for printing various colors and patterns.

Corrugated paper: Corrugated paper is often used to make cartons with buffering and protective functions. Common flutes are E flutes and F flutes. The face paper is often made of 250g powder-gray paper, and the inner layer is corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is widely used in the packaging industry because of its low cost, light weight, easy processing and high strength.

Gray board: Gray board is often used to make high-end gift boxes. The front is white and smooth, and the back is mostly gray. The thickness of gray board is usually 600 grams and 1mm or more. Different weights of gray board can be selected according to customer needs.

Coated paper: The surface of coated paper is smooth and flat, with high whiteness, good smoothness and glossiness, and is suitable for printing three-dimensional graphics and pictures. Commonly used coated paper thicknesses include 128g, 157g, etc. Double-sided coated paper and matte double-sided coated paper are also common choices. The former has a smooth surface, and the latter has a matte surface.

White kraft paper: White kraft paper has high burst resistance, good toughness, high strength, uniform thickness, stable color, and is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, and can be recycled environmentally. It is often used to make environmentally friendly clothing handbags, high-end shopping bags, etc. Commonly used thicknesses are 120 grams to 200 grams.

Natural kraft paper (yellow kraft paper): Kraft paper has high tensile strength and strength, usually brown-yellow, and is widely used in shopping bags, envelopes, etc. Commonly used thicknesses are 120 grams to 300 grams, suitable for printing single-color or two-color and uncomplicated color manuscripts.

Black card paper: Black card paper is fine, transparent black, strong and thick, good folding resistance, smooth surface, good stiffness, good tensile strength, and high tear resistance. The commonly used thickness is 120g-350g, suitable for hot stamping, hot stamping and other processes.
