How To Perform Daily Maintenance And Upkeep On The Carton Machine?
Feb 27, 2025| Daily maintenance and upkeep on the carton machine are essential to ensure its normal operation, extend its service life, and ensure product quality.
1. Cleaning work
External cleaning: After work every day, use a clean soft cloth or brush to remove dust, paper scraps, and ink stains on the surface of the equipment. For stubborn stains, you can use a mild detergent to wipe, but be careful to avoid the detergent from entering the inside of the equipment.
Cleaning of paper feeding and receiving units: Regularly clean paper scraps, dust, and debris on parts such as paper feeding rollers, conveyor belts, paper receiving tables, and suction nozzles to prevent these debris from affecting the delivery and positioning accuracy of paper.
Cleaning of printing parts: Regularly clean the ink and impurities remaining on parts such as printing rollers, scrapers, and ink tanks to prevent the ink from drying and affecting the printing quality. Special ink cleaning agents and cleaning tools can be used for cleaning to ensure that the surfaces of each part are clean and smooth.
2. Inspection and replacement of parts
Inspection of suction nozzles: Regularly check the wear of the suction nozzles and check whether the surface of the suction nozzles is damaged, deformed, or blocked. If the nozzle is seriously worn, it will affect the suction force and cause poor paper feeding. The worn nozzle should be replaced in time.
Conveyor belt and paper feed roller inspection: Check whether the surface of the conveyor belt and paper feed roller is cracked, worn or loose. If the conveyor belt or paper feed roller is seriously worn, it may cause the cardboard to slip or deviate during transportation. It should be adjusted or replaced in time.
Bearing and transmission component inspection: Check whether there are abnormal conditions such as heating and abnormal noise in each bearing part. If there is any abnormality, it may be bearing wear or poor lubrication, which needs to be handled in time. At the same time, check whether the belt and chain are tight or not, and whether there are signs of damage such as wear and cracks. If there is any looseness, the tension should be adjusted in time. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in time.
Electrical component inspection: Regularly check the connection of the electrical circuit to ensure that the circuit is firmly connected and there is no looseness, short circuit or open circuit. For aging or damaged electrical circuits, they should be replaced in time. At the same time, clean the dust and debris in the electrical control cabinet to prevent dust and debris from affecting the heat dissipation and normal operation of electrical components. Check the working status of electrical components such as contactors, relays, switches, etc., and check whether there are problems such as contact burnout and looseness. If there are any problems, replace or repair them in time.
3. Lubrication and maintenance
Bearing lubrication: The bearings in the paper feeding system need to be lubricated regularly to reduce friction and wear. According to the requirements of the equipment manual, use appropriate lubricants to lubricate the bearings, and pay attention to the frequency and amount of lubrication.
Transmission component lubrication: For transmission components such as gears and chains, lubricants also need to be applied regularly to ensure the smooth operation of the transmission system. At the same time, check the tension of the chain, and adjust it in time if it is loose. For some parts that need to use grease, such as gear boxes, etc., the quality and quantity of the grease should be checked regularly, and the grease should be replaced in time according to the usage to ensure the lubrication effect.
